Announcement of “Farewell Service” for our late Tokyo City University President Dr.Koichi Kitazawa
TCU mourns the passing of incumbent President Dr. Koichi Kitazawa
Dr. Koichi Kitazawa, president at Tokyo City University, died of acute liver failure Friday, September 26th, 2014, at the age of 71.
Dr. Kitazawa served TCU as its president from September 2013 for about a year. We, at TCU administration team, would like to offer our most profound sympathy in the grievous loss of his family, friends, and those who were close to him. We also express sincere appreciation on behalf of Dr. Kitazawa for all of the support from his business partners, counterparts, and colleagues during his office term.
Dr. Kitazawa’s funeral was held by his relatives in early October and TCU will celebrate his life in a memorial event “Farewell service” on Monday, November 17th.
