［Obituary］ Announcement of Passing of Tokyo City University President Koichi Kitazawa
Tokyo City University President Koichi Kitazawa, age 71, passed away in a hospital in Tokyo on Friday, September 26, 2014. The cause was acute liver failure. On behalf of our president, we would like to hereby express our deep gratitude to everyone for their kindness and friendship over the years as we solemnly announce his passing.
The family members of the deceased have chosen to hold the wake and funeral as a private family service and would like to request that non-family members kindly refrain from attending these services or making condolence offerings, flowers, or other contributions.
